![]() As someone who has undergone shoulder and Labrum reconstructive surgery, the fact that I was able to outcast my Tranx with ease is a blessing in countless ways. The Tatula 300 is lighter, WAY smoother, WAY quieter, I felt as if it was more powerful (could be because of the longer handle, the bigger knobs, the slightly slower gear ratio, who knows), and best of all, I was able to outcast my Tranx with MINIMAL effort after dialing it in properly. The Tranx has always been missing something in my opinion, but I could never figure out what it was until my 300HS came in and I tried it out. ![]() I own a Shimano Tranx 300AHG and use that for my big baits, but not anymore. I've always been a die hard Shimano guy, both for rods and reels, but this reel has made me reconsider that. Cast like you wouldn't believe when them 3 things are set to your cast perfectly.Ĭomments: I have seen the light. Well built and reliable with easy control access meaning the drag, magnet, and spool settings. Highly recommend and will be adding a couple more to the line up!!Ĭomments: This reel is amazing for big Swim baits ect. Worth every penny!!! This is the smoothest operating reel I have ever got in my hands. Offered in multiple gear ratios, the Daiwa Tatula 300 Casting Reel is the perfect option for anglers fishing large presentations for even larger fish.Ĭomments: Purchased this reel for my big swim baits. To increase casting performance, the Daiwa Tatula 300 Casting Reel is equipped with Daiwa’s T-Wing system that decreases line resistance and the patented Magforce Z magnetic casting system on the exterior to fine tune the reel depending on wind conditions, rod power, and the overall aerodynamics of your bait to maximize casting distance and accuracy. ![]() Internally it features bigger gears enclosed in an aluminum frame that allows for precise alignment, which equals more power and torque. Built around a large 300-size spool, the Daiwa Tatula 300 Casting Reel holds a generous amount of line, which is what anglers need for making long casts with deep-diving crankbaits, large swimbaits, umbrella rigs, and other heavy baits that require heavier line and long casts. Just when you thought the Tatula reel family couldn’t get any better, the Daiwa Tatula 300 Casting Reel delivers top shelf performance that now gives anglers plenty of power to throw oversized baits for catching trophy-caliber bass.
